We offer a personalised service for those who wish to get away from the rat race and enjoy the peace and freedom of the waterways for a few hours. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity of cruising at two or three miles an hour, getting close to wildlife, country pubs, historic towns whilst enjoying the heritage of the canal system and fresh air that goes with the canal cruising experience.
Why not sit back and let someone else take the tiller, steering the boat all day for your party. If you hire a skipper, you can can set off quicker as the handover is much shorter plus you can celebrate in style all together. They can let you have a go under supervision, recommend places to stop, look after the boat whilst you stopover to eat / drink in a pub, restaurant or cafe as well as explaining the rules, etiquette and knowledge of the canal route. They can also make sure your party returns on time if you're worried about how far you can go etc.
