BATHBIKEHIRE operates from both our bases, at Sydney Wharf in Bath (BA2 4EL) and Brassknocker Wharf (BA2 7JD) just outside of Bath. We have approx 80 bikes with a range of different sizes including childrens. We are fortunate to be on the Sustrans route , the Bristol cycle path, the Two Tunnels & the canal towpath. All of these paths are virtually flat, easy to follow and traffic free.
Our bike hire is on a first come first serve basis and is a flat £ 20 per day (adult bike) or £ 15 per day (child bike) including a bicycle lock. ( We don't hire or provide helmets ) Our tandem hire costs £40 per day. Please note we do not have any trailers or child seats available to hire. At the moment we do not have any electric bike hire or ebikes. We are hoping to be able to offer bath ebike hire available in the future from both our sites.
BIKE HIRE POLICY - On arrival we will ask you to fill out a form with your card details which we check are correct and keep this information in our safe until you bring the bikes back for our security. Please note this mandatory.

Cycling from our Sydney Wharf towards Bradford on Avon along the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath is great fun. Many of our hirers stop halfway at our other base at the Canal Visitor Centre at Brassknocker Wharf. You'll find public toilets and the Angelfish Restaurant Cafe that serves hot / cold food, ice creams & refreshments all day. Many cyclists go on to complete the two tunnels circuit which is approx 13 miles. It's worth doing as the first tunnel is the longest cycling / walking tunnel in all of Europe. It's fully lit and plays music as well !
