Holiday Boat

Whistlejacket is 55 feet long and has been designed to stylishly sleep upto five people for one, two, three nights or more. The boat is ideal for a couple with up to three children or for two couples. Whistlejacket is very popular with hirers who would like to spend a longer day on the canal, ideal for a weekend or just a couple of days.

Inside you'll find the two sleeping cabins are completely separate. Both have independent access to the galley and the large bathroom with a freshwater flushing toilet and with a hot/cold shower,.

The aft cabin has a double bed which extends to a full size 4'6” width. At the front, the bench seats convert into a double bed when required allowing you to choose between two single beds or a double bed. The longer single side allows for a further single bed allowing you to sleep three separate beds should you require.

With central heating radiators throughout the boat and a wood- burning stove in the saloon, Whistlejacket can be used at any time of the year. The kitchen is fitted with oven, hob, fridge/ freezer, coffee machine, microwave, utensils and a foldaway table to sit around.

This boat has real oak floors, comfortable memory foam mattresses, and a flat screen TV/DVD player The front has a set of doors/windows that open outwards allowing you to enjoy the full vista and outdoors.

The rear of the boat has a cruiser stern which is larger than more traditional boats allowing more open space. Access on and off the boat is easier and there is space for crew members as well as the steerer.

Don’t worry about steering, it's easy; you will be given full instruction and handling tuition on arrival. The boat hire includes diesel, gas and water. If you are cruising overnight, there are towels, sheets, duvets & pillows provided to compliment your comfort.

Our start time for holiday cruises start at 11.00 a.m. to allow time for arrival & instruction. ( Other times can be made later by prior arrangement )

Many guests have different criteria for their experience with us and for that reason we have a selection of other boats for you to consider. Please note a pre-authorisation deposit is required using a valid debit / credit card.

Whistlejacket standard holiday hires are :

Weekend breaks (3:00pm Fridays to 9:30am Mondays).

Midweek breaks (3:00pm Mondays to 9:30am Fridays).

Weekly, 10/11 day & fortnight breaks (3:00pm Mondays/Fridays afternoons to 9:30 am Monday/Friday morning).
