Premier Cru Holiday Boat Description:

Premier Cru is our 55ft wide-beam boat. She's much more spacious than a narrowboat. She has six berths, with one double cabin, a second bedroom with two single beds and a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. On entering the boat from the stern, you'll find the galley, complete with fullsize cooker, fridge with top shelf freezer . The open galley has an L shaped work top with cottage style cupboards.

The lounge has a solid fuel stove, fold out sofa bed and television. Along the corridor you'll find the two bedrooms, both with cotton bedding, towels, toiletries and some storage in both rooms. The bathroom has a shower and flushing toilet. So your comfort is complete.

To get you started:

We'd like to take the worry out of your holiday; from the moment your feet hit the deck, you can begin to enjoy your holiday on the Kennet and Avon canal. Premier Cru will be full of complimentary fuel so after your orienteering, you'll be ready to steer her away. You'll be insured, licensed and ready to go. We provide a complimentary hamper for your short break / long break cruising option which may include tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, sugar, bread and fruit, so you can stop for a snack even if you haven't had the chance to shop yet. If you're a novice, don't worry we spend time with you to make sure you are happy handling the boat before you go on your way.

For your comfort:

Both cabins feature comfortable pocket-sprung mattresses topped with mattress toppers and dressed in soft cotton sheets. For a cozy night's sleep, cotton duvets and pillows provide warmth and comfort. The sofa bed also comes with fresh cotton sheets complemented by soft pillows and a warm duvet. Towels are big, plump, soft cotton sheets, that you can wrap yourself up in after a leisurely shower.

For your entertainment:

Onboard you'll find a large freeview tv for you to watch on demand. Unlimited mobile Wi-fi means you can keep in touch and link into your Netflix account. (Kindly note that signal strength may vary in some parts of the canal). And if you'd rather play there's a selection of board games for all of the family to enjoy.

Not so essential essentials:

We recommend waterproof jackets and trousers which will keep you dry in all weathers. After a day's cruising you can wind down in front of the log burner, create an ambient atmosphere and enjoy a relaxed evening.

And just because we can:

We've provided fleecy robes for you to wrap up in. A selection of toiletries include soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.

We'd like you to want for nothing during your stay, so if you have any special requirements just let us know and if there's something we can do to make it happen we will. For your reassurance, we provide a discreet concierge call out service. We're happy to work with you to create a special event or occasion and it would be a privilege to do so.

Premier Cru standard holiday hires are :

Weekend breaks (3:00pm Fridays to 9:30am Mondays).

Midweek breaks (3:00pm Mondays to 9:30am Fridays).

Weekly, 10/11 day & fortnight breaks (3:00pm Mondays/Fridays afternoons to 9:30 am Monday/Friday morning).

Please note a pre-authorisation deposit is required using a valid debit / credit card.
